Week 15 (4/11/2019 - 8/11/2019)

Task: Updating Chapter 4. This chapter includes the findings explanation and the data analysis. During develop this project, most important things that need to be carried out were the objectives.

Result 1: Accuracy of Pulse Sensor Circuit Analysis

To determine the accuracy of the pulse detector circuit, an experimental analysis was conducted on the pulse sensor circuit. In patient monitor and pulse sensor, heart rate measuring is compared between the pulse oximeter. Here is the contrast between the pulse oximeter and the pulse sensor for reading the heart rate.

Result 2: Classifier Analysis with Audio Output

The purpose of this experiment is to determine whether the heart rate status generated by the earphone using Cytron EasyMP3 Shield is consistent with the current heart status displayed through Serial Monitor on Arduino IDE. This is to ensure that the audio was produced in accordance with the correct status. Therefore, blind persons would not have trouble getting information about their heart rate.

Result 3: Save Heart Rate Data on Microsoft Excel

PLX-DAQ has been used to save the heart rate data in the Microsoft Excel. By enabled Macro and Active X on the Developer tab in Microsoft Excel, PLX-DAQ can be operated with Arduino.

Result 4: Send Heart Rate Data to ThingSpeak

Some blind persons were not computer tolerated so when the measure their heart rate, the measurement could be sent through the Internet and display on IoT in real time. Doctors also could monitor their heart rate from distance and prescribe their health condition for set an appointment. Less time will be taken rather that to travel to the hospital or clinic. The figure showed the heart rate measurement data were obtained in real time.

Week 10 (30/9/2019 - 4/10/2019)

On 2 Oct 2019, a FYP 2 Briefing had been covering: FYP 2 Exhibition Day (Tips & Tricks) and Submission of Progress Report, Final Report & Technical Paper. Students were able to know the tips and how to present their projects during Exhibition Day. The speaker also brief on Submission of Progress Report, Final Report & Technical Paper. Next, a sketch has been made for this project. Google Sketch Up used to draw the casing of the project. A sketch need to be provided some Braille cell for guidance to the blind people.   Left View of the Project Right View of the Project
